Women's Basketball: Denison knocks off MuskingumJuniors Shaina Kaiser and Haley Dahlgard each scored 21 points as the Denison women's basketball team defeated Muskingum University 73-57 in the championship game of the Anderson University Tip-Off Tournament. The win was the Big Red's second in a row and their first over the Muskies since the 2004-05 season. |

On Saturday at Highland Park Golf Course in Cleveland, Ohio, Navarre improved three places over her outstanding performance in 2008, by placing sixth overall. |

Men's Cross Country: Salukombo places 33rd at NCAA ChampionshipDenison sophomore Dee Salukombo finished in 33rd place out of 276 runners at the 2009 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship from Highland Park Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio. Salukombo was making his second consecutive appearance in the Division III Championship. |

Shorten is the 57th Academic All-America recipient from Denison and the first men's soccer player in the history of the program. |
