This past fall, the Denison University Art Collective held our annual Bowl-a-thon and Empty Bowls soup sale. We engaged in a collaborative effort to construct as many handmade ceramic bowls as possible during our twelve hour Bowl-a-thon, welcoming members of both the Denison and Granville community. On November 17th, we held two sales of the bowls, one on campus and one outside of the Soup Loft.

We are thankful for the  generous support of Sodexo and Kevin Ciferno of the Soup Loft for both the delicious soup served with the purchase of a bowl, and their enthusiasm for our event. Furthermore, we are thankful for the patronage of the members of the community at large! We raised over $1,600 for the Food Pantry Network of Licking County. We, the Art Collective, love this event because it brings the community together with a common purpose of contributing to greater Licking County.

We cannot thank you all enough for your participation and we hope to continue to hold this event for many years to come!
