Professor Olson arrived at Denison in the Fall of 2004. She has shown her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the US and internationally. Her research and teaching interests include ceramic history, ornament, installation and particularly, material culture and its role in the construction of collective identity and individual persona. Carrie has received various honors and awards for her work, including artist residencies here and abroad.
