Hey Denison people, I wanted to write to update my email address and such for the website. I graduated from the U of Minnesota with my doctorate in organic chemistry (July 2005). My thesis title was "Synthesis and Reactions of Allenamides and Ynamides" with Prof. Richard Hsung, who has since left Minneosta to go to Wisconsin. I am now working at Stanford as a post-doctoral fellow in the labs of Prof. Barry Trost. My email address will always be michael.tracey.00@denison.edu. Hey there Denison Chemistry Department. I just wanted to give you a brief update on my life. After doing an internship for the graduate school program I was enrolled in, I decided that an office job managing health care was not the job for me. So I decided to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. I have been working at Banfield, a veterinary clinic at Easton. I have applied to vet school and have been accepted to Kansas State University. I'm not sure if I will go there or not as some other applications are still pending. However, I loved my visit there and believe I would be very happy.
