Stockroom Services:
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Stockroom is located on the ground floor of Ebaugh Laboratories. The stockroom is responsible for the primary storage of chemical reagents, glassware and equipment associated with the teaching labs. There are three satellite storage rooms, (issue rooms) located on each floor with equipment associated with labs on each floor respectively. Another important function of the stockroom is the preparation of solutions and reagents for the teaching labs. Philip Waite is the stockroom supervisor and department Web page maintainer.
The Chemical Inventory link listed above is a new Web-based database provided for on-campus users only. It has search engines available to located organic and inorganic chemicals using a variety of search options. Authorized persons may also add, edit or delete records in the database.
To assist our staff and researchers, the Laboratory Request Form, makes ordering chemicals and/or equipment from the stockroom quick and effective. Some request must have prier approval before being ordered.
The Laboratory Forms and Desk List provide the documents associated with checking in and out of laboratory desks.
Desk Maps of each semester's teaching lab courses are also provided.
