Marc Wiskemann joined the Cinema Department in 2003 and teaches Elementary Cinema Production (CINE 219), Video Theory & Production (CINE 310), Advanced Cinema Production (CINE 410), Cinema Workshop (CINE 419), Screenwriting (CINE 328) as well as Production Seminar courses in Cinematography and Advanced Production Techniques (CINE 312 & 407).

Professor Wiskemann holds an undergraduate film degree from The University of Texas and an MFA in film production from Florida State University's Graduate Film Conservatory. While at Florida State, he not only shot one of their award winning thesis films, but was also the sound designer on two others and was the editor on a film which was nominated for a Student Academy Award.

An award winning filmmaker, Marc Wiskemann has worked professionally in film production since 1991 and has served as Director of Photography on nine feature films and over 40 shorts, commercials, music videos and other projects.  His 2009 short film, My Dearest Love, is currently playing at film festivals around the world and his 2008 short film, Waiting for the Sky to Fall, continues to screen in festivals as well.  He also has a feature film, Minus One, which is currently in the post-production stage and should be completed in early 2010.
