Amanda Gunn focuses her teaching and scholarship on the development of relationships and communities through engaged communication. Specifically, she explores questions of marginality, voice, and empowerment in a variety of communication context including interpersonal, small group, and organizational. She completed her BS at Appalachian State University, her MA and PhD at the University of North Carolina art Greensboro.
