Professor Xinda Lian earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan. His research interests include Chinese poetry, Song Dynasty culture, and early texts of Philosophical Daoism. He has supervised senior research and summer research on Chinese literature and Chinese cinema.
