Investment Club
Investment Club returns 79% winning the Oak Competition!
The investment club was originally started with a gift from the Hunsberger family. Since then the fund has grown to over $50,000. In more recent years the club also started investing in a second portfolio that was started by Oak Associates. Oak Associates is a money management firm that also manages the White Oak, Pin Oak and Red Oak mutual funds.
The Oak Associates fund was started with $50,000 and competes against 14 other schools. At the end of each year 5% of the total fund transfers to the school's endowment. This year the Denison Investment Club transferred $5,620.45.
