Do you love to write? Do you spend hours writing poems and stories, reading voraciously, imagining characters and entire worlds? Do you wish you had more opportunity to learn to write creatively than your high school curriculum allows? If you are looking for the chance to spend time this summer with a community of like-minded young writers from around the country, then the Reynolds Workshop is for you.

The Jonathan R. Reynolds Young Writers Workshop is designed to give beginning poets and writers an opportunity to develop their talents and visions. Our Writers Workshop puts you in touch with the variety a life in writing has to offer.

The eight-day Workshop, this year held from June 14-21, 2009, encourages high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to explore, discover, and affirm the craft of writing while in residence on the beautiful campus of Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

The Reynolds Workshop establishes a community of respect and sharing in which you will learn what it means to be a writer through daily workshops, group talks, readings, informal encounters with renowned professional writers, one-on-one conferences, and other events.
