Phi Alpha Theta

Phi Alpha Theta is the International Honor Society in History. The society is composed of chapters at accredited universities and colleges. Phi Alpha Theta encourages the development of a community of historians by hosting social and academic events for students and professors. A number of students from the department join this international history honorary society each year.

One has to have a 3.0 cum, four history courses, and a 3.1 in the history major to be eligible to be a member of Phi Alpha Theta at Denison.

Phi Alpha Theta students organize student activities in the department.
