April Fields, ’11, is a biology major and chemistry minor from Norwood, Ohio. She is interested in researching molecular genetics and development. This past summer, April took a marine animal physiology course at the Duke University Marine Lab and has been invited to return next summer as a Rachel Carson scholar to conduct research. In her free time, she volunteers for Nursing Home Companions and the Humane Society, is an active member of DUBS, and has worked in the athletic training room. April is very enthusiastic about being the Gilpatrick Fellow for 2009-10, and can be contacted at fields_a@denison.edu.
