| Trip to COSI | Saturday, April 5, 10:00 AM | The Honors Program is sponsoring a trip to COSI! You can see what you will look like in 50 years, listen to your voice become absorbed in an echo-free chamber, travel back in time, and so much more! We will leave from Gilpatrick around 10:00 AM. | James Bond movie night | Wednesday, April 9, 8:00 PM | What is your favorite number? If you said 007 then you should join us for our annual James Bond movie night! Feel free to dress as your favorite double-0 agent or heroine, or come dressed as you are. Refreshments will be served. If you have a collection of James Bond films, feel free to bring them as well. The first film will begin in the Gilpatrick lounge around 8:00 PM. | |||||||||
| Broadway Series production: Avenue Q | April 13th, 1:00 p.m. | Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 17th for the Broadway Series production of Avenue Q in Columbus on Sunday, April 13th at 1:00 p.m. Cost is $10.00 for rear mezzanine seats, which includes transportation. Reservations can only be made by bringing your money (cash or check payable to Denison University) to Cookie's office in Gilpatrick. | Movie and game night | Friday, April 25, 8:00 PM | The Honors Program is hosting its final movie and game night of the year. Feel free to bring your collection of films and games. Refreshments will be served. The event will begin in the Gilpatrick lounge at 8:00 PM. | |||||||||
| Dog Wash | Saturday, April 26, 11:00 AM-12:30 PM or 12:30 PM-2:00 PM or both | Saturday April 26: It is that time of year again! Grab your brushes, buckets, and shampoo and help us at the annual Honors Program Dog Wash! All of the money raised will be donated to the local humane society. We will meet in Burke Circle on South Quad. You can sign up for one or two shifts: 11:00-12:30 12:30-2:00 Last year, we raised around $300 to help animals in central Ohio, and we plan to raise more this year, but we need your help. Honors students raise money for the local humane society by washing Granville's dirty dogs
- Honors seminars offered in Spring, 2008, are available for viewing at Present Term's Seminars Honors seminars for Fall, 2008, will be on the web page in late March.
- Honors students: If you have not yet filed your Declaration of Intention to graduate as a member of the Honors Program, please pick up the forms in Cookie's office as soon as possible. The criteria for graduating as a member of the program is listed in the Honors Seminar description booklet inside the back cover, and can also be found on this website at Academic Structure of the Honors Program and Criteria for Graduating as a Member. Seniors must file their papers before they convert their senior research to Honors projects in early spring term.
