Fellowship Opportunities

If you are seriously interested in any of them, it is extremely important that you get started now! If you doubt that, just ask some of the students who have applied for these fellowships in previous years. They can tell you how difficult it is to put together a well thought out application while juggling classes and extracurricular activities. Most of these applications require an autobiographical statement and a proposal for a research project or course of study.

A general information session on fellowships will be held on Wednesday, February 20th, at 4:30 p.m. in Gilpatrick House. This is especially geared toward current sophomores and juniors who will be applying for fellowships next year. If you cannot attend, please contact Cookie for more information. A proposal writing workshop will also take place later this semester. Reservations for both of these events will be made by emailing Cookie.
Information on these post-Denison opportunities is available in the Honors Program Office. Students interested in pursuing any of these are REQUIRED to make an appointment with Dr. Kent Maynard, Director of the Honors Program, and/or Dr. Joan Krone, Director of Fellowships for the Honors Program, as soon as possible.
