2003 Music Award Recipients

  • Brock Babcock - Frank J. Bellino Award;  "to the most outstanding graduating senior string player"

  • Jonathan Seigel - George R. Hunter Award;  "to the most outstanding graduating senior wind or brass player"

  • Danelle Wilbraham - Elliot D. Borishansky Award;  "to the most outstanding graduating senior composer"

  • Brock Babcock - William Osborne Award;  "to the most outstanding graduating senior choral singer"

  • Tiana Gabriel - Fannie Judson Farrar Memorial Music Award;  "to the most promising and worthy student in piano"

  • Andrew Juechter - Sam Gelfer Memorial Music Award;  "to one or more students, irrespective of race, creed or color, preferably to players of string instruments, provided they have demonstrated excellence in music and contributed through their music to the University and the community"

  • Meghan Coil - Arthur Judson Prize in Music;  "to a graduating senior for general achievement while at Denison with preference given to those students choosing or planning a career in music management or music administration"
