Winter Workshop Registration
Registration for our winter workshops has begun. Please see your teacher for registration materials. All registrations are due to your teacher the week of November 24.
Granville Christmas Candlelight Walking Tour
Parents, please remember to bring your cameras to our rehearsals and performances and send the photos to Maryfrances Kirsh for use on the website, on our bulletin boards and in the newsletter.

Flute and Piano:
- arrive at 4:20 p.m. in the Sanctuary
- rehearsal ends at 6 p.m.
Strings:
5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Gather and tune in Shepherd Hall (east side of building)
- Enter quietly, piano rehearsal in progress!
- Get a nametag and wear it on your right side.
- Get tuned.
- Bring a music stand if you are in the Herrick Hall group.
After tuning in Shepherd Hall, we will go into the sanctuary and get organized into rows. Next, we will practice walking into the sanctuary from Shepherd Hall in a calm and orderly fashion ☺ Then we will rehearse.
Performance: Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Centenary United Methodist Church
- Wear your red Denison University Suzuki Program polo shirt (do you need a larger size?), black pants or skirt, and black shoes and socks.
- If you do not have a Denison Suzuki Polo shirt, contact Mary George immediately!
Flutists meet in Shepherd Hall at 1:15 p.m.
Pianists arrive by 1:45 p.m. and sit with their families in the Sanctuary
Strings:
- 2:30 p.m. Arrive and tune in Shepherd Hall
(Quietly, Please – Performance in progress) - 3:00 p.m. Line up and go into Sanctuary
- 3:15 p.m. Perform ☺
Flute and Piano Performance: 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
String Performance: 3:15 p.m. - 4: 15 p.m.
Goodwill Ambassadors Tour
Saturday, December 13
Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
1450 W. Main Street, Newark, OH 43055
Performance: 10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Reception and conversation with residents: 11:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
- We will perform in the dinning room at "Lorna's Place".
- Turn into the Flint Ridge driveway from W. Main Street and Lorna's Place is at the second entrance on the left.
- Lorna's Place entrance is not marked from the outside, but it has a bigger porch area.
- Parking is tight. Carpool if possible.
- Parents, allow residents to be seated first and be ready to offer your seat.
