B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Capital University

Kaitlin is a native of Boardman, Ohio, where she began playing the cello at the age of 11. She attended various music camps to further her studies, including College of Wooster, Miami University, and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. She has studied with Dr. Michael Gelfand, Deborah Newcomb, and Dr. Alice Ann O’Neill. After participating in the Boardman High School Orchestra and the Youngstown Symphony Youth Orchestra, she continued her study of the cello at Capital University where she performed with the Capital University Community Orchestra. While
taking lessons from Dr. Alice Ann O’Neal at Capital, she learned about the
Suzuki method. Attending the Chicago Institute of Music, she completed Suzuki Cello teacher training through book four. Kaitlin is a graduate of Capital University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a minor in music.
