Caryl grew up in St. Louis, Mo., and attended Oberlin College where she
received a Bachelors in Music Education. She spent her junior year
studying piano at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. She received a
Masters Degree in Music Education from The University of Michigan and
has taught elementary vocal music in St. Louis, Detroit, and Hilliard. Caryl completed her Suzuki training with Mary Craig Powell at Capital
University, has registered her training with the SAA and is nationally certified by the Music Teachers National Association.
