Robin began her violin training at age six under Ruth Jeanne in Granville, Ohio.
As an undergraduate she took many music classes and studied violin with
students of Itzhak Perlman and Josef Gingold. Robin obtained a doctorate in Zoology and worked for many years as a
wildlife biologist studying birds and frogs.
She chose these animals because they make music, too! Robin plays violin in chamber groups and in an Irish band, 'Celts Crossing'. She received her Suzuki training from the Capital Suzuki
Institute and the American Suzuki Institute.
