Quality of ATEP Admission Portfolio
Each voting member of the ATEP Admission Committee will independently evaluate the depth of understanding represented within the student's portfolio. Evaluators will independently rate each portfolio from 1-10. For each applicant the average of these ratings will be calculated and multiplied by 0.0833. The resulting product is entered as a factor used to calculate the composite ATEP admission score.
Average Score for Personal Statement Essay
Each voting member of the ATEP Admission Committee will independently evaluate each blinded essay. Evaluators will independently rate the essays from 1 - 10. For each student the average of these ratings will be calculated and multiplied by 0.0833. The resulting product is entered as a factor used to calculate the composite ATEP admission score.
Average Score for Interview
Each voting member of the ATEP Admission Committee will independently rate each student on a scale of 1 - 10 following the conclusion of the ATEP admission interview. For each student the average of these ratings will be calculated and multiplied by 0.0833. The resulting product is entered as a factor used to calculate the composite ATEP admission score.

- Overall GPA is 3.6 the student receives an 8. (8 X 25%) = 2
- Prerequisite GPA is 3.0 the student receives a 5. (5 X 25%) = 1.25
- Entrance examination is 75% the student receives a 5. (5 X 25%) = 1.25
- ATEP admission portfolio is rated to be a 1. (1 X 8.33%) = .0833
- Personal statement is rated to be a 5. (5 X 8.33%) = .4165
- ATEP admission interview is rated at 7. (7 X 8.33%) = .5831
- ATEP admission composite score = 2 + 1.25 + 1.25 + .0833 + .4165 + .5831 = 5.5829
