Senior Research
Many religion majors and minors conduct year-long senior research projects, the majority of which are converted into honors theses. For students who have another major or minor, projects can be at the intersection of the student's religion major or minor and the other major or minor. Some senior research projects also grow out of previous summer research, either on the Young Scholars program or the Woodyard Summer Scholars Program. Projects can also grow out of issues that emerge in particular courses. Others represent new departures into areas of scholarly inquiry not covered by Denison courses. These projects allow students to explore in depth issues at the center of their intellectual careers.
