Historical Connections
Women’s Studies students at Denison were tasked to find the connection between two women from Granville’s past using primary historical records from ancestry.com (U.S. census records, military records, family trees, etc). These records rarely see public light and provide information you rarely see in traditional history textbooks. Students wrote the following stories to make history come to life. The stories are designed for middle school students, but I think they are enjoyable for all ages. I hope you enjoy their work!
