Summer Scholar Program 2009: Sarah Mercier '11
"Investigating Cluster Fault Tolerance"
Computer science major Sarah Mercier ’11 created a web application that allows Associate Professor Thomas Bressoud's research to be accessible to the public. By pulling from Bressoud's statistical simulator, users can learn to manage errors originating from a group of computers, called a cluster. Sarah is now working to improve the application by applying it to Denison's own computer cluster.
