At Denison, students have the opportunity to pursue in-depth study in one of several scientific disciplines through both coursework and original research.  Students can pursue a research project one-on-one with a faculty mentor either during the school year or during the summer.

Denison offers both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in 8 scientific disciplines, providing excellent preparation for graduate school and careers in science and technology.

Science is also an integral part of a liberal arts education. The science division at Denison promotes scientific literacy for all students to prepare them to become more effective critical consumers of scientific information.
