Why come to the Writing Center?

The Writing Center is committed to helping students and faculty on writing issues. We believe that writing is not a process that occurs in isolation or by a sole individual. Instead, writing is a collective effort that students, instructors, and Writing Consultants engage in together. We work on this goal with both students and faculty.

The Writing Center is located on the 4th floor of Barney-Davis Hall and has satellite locations in the Reference section of the Library and at the Bandersnatch in Huffman Hall.

Make an Appointment

Online scheduling for Writing Center appointments will be available as of Monday, November 30, from this page. To make an appointment before that date, please call 740-587-5681, or visit us in Barney Davis 400 during our open hours (see below).

We will continue to provide walk-in hours (no appointment necessary) at our satellite locations in Doane library and at the Bandersnatch.
