Denison Lacrosse Alumni
Denison Lacrosse Alumni was formed in 2004 to provide a way for ex-Denison lacrosse players to re-connect with each other and to the Denison Lacrosse program. Since our launch two years ago, the DLA has conducted a number of activities supporting our members and the program: hospitality events during the varsity's spring trip; at the NCAA's over Memorial Day Weekend; at the Summit Lacrosse Tournament in Lake Placid, NY; during Denison's Parents Weekend, published an ongoing email newsletter, assisted Head Coach Matt McGinnis in recruiting, funded new equipment for the varsity, and raised funds to supplement the salary of his assistant coaches.
Today, the DLA has a growing membership of over 200 members, representing classes, coaches, and parents from 1957 to 2006 across 35 states and Washington D.C. DLA members also help recent graduates in their career development, from job networking to providing insights into various industries. The DLA's web site, www.denisonlacrosse.org, features updates about the varsity program, interviews with Coach Matt McGinnis, team statistics, profiles of DLA members, information about DLA activities, and more.
