As a part of the second annual Big Red Weekend, the Denison University Varsity D Association will be holding their annual induction ceremony and reception on Friday, Oct. 2 and Saturday, Oct. 3.
The following six Big Red alums have been chosen for induction in 2009:
Casey Chroust '97 (Basketball)
Carl S. Cutler '80 (Soccer)
Timothy Dunham '94 (Cross Country/Track & Field)
Thomas E. Richner '97 (Swimming & Diving)
Elissa McCarthy Tessier '99 (Field Hockey/Lacrosse)
Matt Trumbull '99 (Swimming & Diving)

On Friday (Oct. 2) the D Association will host a reception honoring the six new members of the Hall of Fame beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Welsh Hills Room of the Burton D. Morgan Center.
On Saturday (Oct. 3) the 2009 Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted at halftime of the football game against Case Western Reserve. Kickoff for this game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
