The Denison University Student Athlete Advisory Committee will host a free Sports and Games Clinic in celebration of National Student Athlete Day Sunday, April 5, 2009.

Kindergartners through sixth graders are invited to join Denison's student athletes for a day of games, relay races, sportsmanship and teamwork. In age appropriate groups, children will participate in a variety of sports and receive a snack and certificate of participation at the end of the day.

No pre-registration is necessary. Registration will take place on the day of the event from 1:15-1:50 pm. The clinic will begin at 2:00. Children are encouraged to wear comfortable and weather appropriate clothing and tennis shoes.

Parents do not need to stay for the clinic unless they want to. Pick up is at 4:30 pm.

Directions to the Mitchell Center:
Drive north on Pearl Street and turn left into the East Gate entrance of Denison.
Turn left at the second street and turn right into the parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts.
Enter the doors on the far left of the athletic complex at the entrance to the Mitchell Center.
Registration will be inside the door.
