May 08, 2008NCAC's baseball opener washed out, games rescheduled for Friday Thursday's opening game of the 2008 NCAC Baseball Championship has been postponed due to rain. Play will resume on Friday morning with game one scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. A potential game three will start two hours after game two. |

Denison suffered a best two-of-three series loss to Ohio Wesleyan University in the 2008 NCAC Baseball Championship Series from Granville. Denison captured game two 4-2 but dropped a 7-3 decision in game three. The Big Red closed out the year with a 27-18 record.
Denison swept Kenyon in the semifinals of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament and will face either Wooster or Ohio Wesleyan in the NCAC Championship series on May 8-9 at Big Red Field in Granville.
