The Denison men's cross country team opened their 2008 season on Friday night with the Denison Fall Festival at Bryn Du Mansion in Granville. Fifteen members of the Big Red squad ran against The University of Rio Grande in an unscored meet.

Field Hockey: Denison blanks Oberlin in season opener
Junior forward Molly McCue scored two first half goals and first-year goalie Kristie Hart turned in a stellar 14 save performance in her first career start as the Big Red rolled to a 2-0 victory over North Coast Athletic Conference foe, Oberlin College.

2008 Field Hockey Preview
The Denison Big Red field hockey team is set to kick off their 2008 season on Thursday when they travel to Oberlin College. P.J. Soteriades returns for her ninth season in Granville and despite losing four senior starters off last year's team, she returns a pair of seniors in 2008 along with a talented group of 11 juniors that will take up the bulk of the roster this season.

The Denison volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-15) loss to Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Tuesday night in Mount Vernon. The Cougars are 7-2 and ranked 25th in latest National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Denison falls to 0-1.

Men's Soccer: Three first half goals lead Blue Streaks past Big Red
John Carroll and Denison combined for four goals over a four minute span early in the first half. Three of those four goals were netted by the Blue Streaks, resulting in a 3-1 victory in John Carroll's 2008 home opener.
