Denison's Evan Nicholson (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover) and Aidan Lucas (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Twp.) were named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference first-team for baseball and the Big Red landed six players on the conference postseason awards list following a 21-19.

Nicholson was named to the first-team at second base after hitting a team-high .427 in his first year in a Big Red uniform.  Nicholson drove in 16 runs, scored 23 and led the team with 10 stolen bases in 22 starts.

Lucas was the lone NCAC player to be named to both the first-team and the second-team at different positions.  As a designated hitter, Lucas earned a first-team nod after hitting .378 with six home runs and 54 RBIs.  He finished second in the conference in runs batted in and his total was the second-highest in Denison history.  He was also second in the NCAC in slugging (.648) and fourth in on-base percentage (.503).

As a pitcher, Lucas was named to the All-NCAC second-team after going 2-3 with a 3.90 ERA and a conference high, eight saves which tied the Denison school record set by Matt Streicher in 2002.  Joining Lucas on the second team was Alex Horn (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville), Park Smith (Warren, N.J./The Pingry School) and Justin Held (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson).

Horn hit .374 from his catcher spot and started 30 of 33 games with 16 RBIs.  Smith earned his third-straight all-conference award after hitting .379 with a team-high 13 doubles and 37 RBIs which was the eighth highest total in the league.

In centerfield, Held was named to his second All-NCAC squad out of the last three years after hitting .385 with 16 RBIs, and four triples.  Held's 11 career triples is the second-most in Denison history.

Rounding out the team with honorable mention certificates were freshman Bill Sanders (Chapel Hill, N.C./Chapel Hill) and sophomore Peter Krieger (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan).  Sanders hit .344 in 26 starts at third base and had 24 runs scored.  Krieger hit .327 in 31 starts in the outfield and drove in 25 runs which was fourth-most on the team.
