Denison pounded out nine runs in the top of the ninth inning on Friday to earn a 15-8 victory over Eastern Nazarene.

Denison jumped out to a 6-0 lead and got another outstanding start from senior JD Wyborny (Walnut Creek, Calif./Monte Vista) who went six innings and allowed no runs off four hits while striking out four.  Mike Hundley (Cincinnati, Ohio/Colerain) relieved Wyborny and pitched a scoreless seventh but Eastern Nazarene would respond in the eighth with six runs to tie the game before DU would rip the game back open in the ninth for their seventh win of the season.

Tony Christopher (Moreland Hills, Ohio/Chagrin Falls) was 3-for-6 with three runs scored and a three-run home run.  Danny Pritz (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) had two doubles while going 4-for-6.  Aidan Lucas (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Twp.) posted a 3-for-4 day and also added a home run and two RBIs.  Bobby Girratani (Winthrop, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) picked up the win in relief.

Denison will close out the Gene Cusic Classic with a doubleheader against Trinity College on Saturday at 12 p.m.
