Baseball: Teague and Pritz earn regional Gold Gloves

Kevin Teague
First-year third baseman Kevin Teague (Fairfax Station, Va./St. Stephen's & St. Agnes) freshman center fielder Danny Pritz (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) received Rawlings/ABCA Mideast Region Gold Glove awards for outstanding play in the field in 2008.
Teague started 43 of 45 games and posted a .953 fielding percentage at the hot corner. He committed just five errors in 107 total chances while finishing fifth on the team with a .319 batting average.
Pritz started all 45 games for the Big Red and was nearly flawless patrolling center field. He was charged with only one error in 101 total chances. His .990 fielding percentage led the team. His .348 batting average was second on the team.
Denison posted a 27-18 record in 2008 and advanced to their fourth North Coast Athletic Conference Championship series in school history.
