He becomes the second player in Denison history to be selected in the MLB draft and the first player since John Kenney in 1982. |

Baseball: Denison captures NCAC West crown with sweep of EarlhamDenison University got two more spectacular performances from their pitching staff as they won the North Coast Athletic Conference West Division crown and secured their seventh overall berth in the NCAC Tournament with a pair of wins over Earlham College on Wednesday in Granville. DU won the opener 2-1 in eight innings, and took the second game 12-0. |

Baseball: Big Red move into first-place following sweep of WabashDenison defeated Wabash College 7-4 and 8-2 on Sunday to move into first-place in the NCAC West Division with just two conference games remaining on their schedule. The team hit .408 and posted a 3.41 ERA over the four game series. Denison now sits at 19-15 and 9-5 in the NCAC. |
