May 8, 2008NCAC's baseball opener washed out, games rescheduled for Friday Thursday's opening game of the 2008 NCAC Baseball Championship has been postponed due to rain. Play will resume on Friday morning with game one scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. A potential game three will start two hours after game two. |

The two teams will play two, nine-inning games on Saturday with a potential third game scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m., if necessary. |

April 20, 2008Baseball: Big Red Captures West Division Crown following sweep of Earlham Four weeks ago the Denison Big Red opened their North Coast Athletic Conference divisional schedule with a four-game sweep of Wittenberg. This afternoon they completed their conference slate in exactly the same fashion, and in the process locked up their first NCAC West Division championship since 2005. |

Denison swept Kenyon in the semifinals of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament and will face either Wooster or Ohio Wesleyan in the NCAC Championship series on May 8-9 at Big Red Field in Granville.
