Men's Basketball: Strong second half lifts Denison past Earlham
After a sluggish first half, the Denison men's basketball team controlled the second 20 minutes of play as they knocked off Earlham College in a key North Coast Athletic Conference contest. With the win, the Big Red improves to 5-7 in the NCAC, while the Quakers fall to 1-11 in the league.

Men's Basketball: Saturday's game at Earlham moved to Sunday
The North Coast Athletic Conference men's basketball game between Denison and Earlham, which was scheduled to be played at 3 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 6) at Earlham, has been postponed due to the severe weather that has hit the midwest. The game will now be played at 2 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 7) in Richmond, Ind.

Men's Basketball: Early deficit too much to overcome against Terriers
The Big Red offense came to life in the second half, but after a first half which saw the home team struggle to find the basket Hiram took advantage and pushed their lead out to 27 points midway through the second half, eventually resulting in a 71-62 victory over the Big Red at Livingston Gymnasium.

Ian Franks scored 30 points and accounted for four of Wooster's 12 3-point field goals as the Fighting Scots handed the Denison Big Red a 97-73 loss on Saturday night from Timken Gymnasium.

Men's Basketball: Luther eclipses 1,000-career points in win over Kenyon
Senior Chris Luther became the 17th member of the Denison 1,000-point club, and freshman Dimonde Hale scored a career-high 25 tallies as the Big Red men's basketball team halted a five-game losing streak and knocked off North Coast Athletic Conference rival Kenyon 81-66 on Wednesday night from Livingston Gymnasium.

Allegheny College finished the day plus-11 in points off turnovers and had four players score in double figures as the Gators continued their climb up the North Coast Athletic Conference standings with a 75-68 victory over Denison University on Saturday in Meadville, Pa.

Men's Basketball: Bishops hold off hard-charging Big Red
Ohio Wesleyan got 24 points from Tim Brady and 14 rebounds from Marshall Morris and that was just enough to hold off an ever-improving Denison Big Red squad who battled back from a 13-point second half deficit before falling 70-67 to the Battling Bishops from Branch Rickey Arena.

Men's Basketball: Big Red remain unbeaten in NCAC after win over Oberlin
Chris Luther scored 16 of his game-high 25 points in the second half as the Big Red rallied from a double-digit second half deficit to defeat Oberlin College 76-69 on Wednesday night. The win marks the first time since the 1996-97 season that a Denison men's basketball team has started 3-0 in the NCAC.

The Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame has announced that Louis A. Mitchell, a Denison University Life Trustee, and member of the Class of 1957, will be inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame during its fourth annual banquet and ceremony on May 30 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
