Men's Cross Country: Russo earns NCAC Athlete of the Week honors

Denison senior Grant Russo (Medina, Ohio/Medina) received North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors following a fourth-place finish at the Division III All-Ohio Championships on Friday in Delaware, Ohio.
Russo finished the race in a time of 26:18.2 to help the Big Red to a fourth place finish. The senior's time ranked him 23rd across all divisions in the event. Russo's five consecutive top ten Division III finishes has helped the DU men's cross country team move to 28th in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national rankings.
Denison will compete at the Wilmington Fall Classic on Friday (Oct. 17) before taking part in the NCAC Championships hosted by Oberlin College on Nov. 1.
