Bendtsen Named NCAC Athlete of the Week

Denison junior Joel Bendtsen (Chillicothe, Ohio/ Chillicothe) has been named NCAC Athlete of the Week for his performance in Friday's All-Ohio Cross Country Championships in Delaware, Ohio.
Bendtsen covered the eight kilometer course in 27:06.5, finishing 5th in Division III. Bendtsen's strong showing anchored a Big Red team that finished fourth in Division III and first among NCAC competition.
Bendtsen will return to action Saturday as the Big Red travel to Wilmington, Ohio for the Wilmington College Fall Classic.
