Men's Cross Country

Grant Russo led DU with a 3rd Place finish at Otterbein.

Grant Russo (Medina, Ohio/Medina) turned in another outstanding performance on Saturday at the Otterbein Invitational in Westerville, helping the Denison men's cross country team to a fifth place finish out of 16 teams.  

Russo placed third out of more than 200 runners with a time of 25:54.  Following Russo was senior Joel Bendtsen (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) who placed 17th with a time of 26:40.  Skylar Mosenthal (Briarcliff, N.Y./Briarcliff) came in third and 32nd overall with a time of 27:22.  Three seconds behind was teammate Kindy Tice (Cedarburg, Wis./Marquette) and junior Lex Hultquist (Knoxville, Tenn./Webb School) rounded out the DU point scoreres with a time of 27:46 and a 38th place finish.

The team will take next weekend off and will return to action on Oct. 5 at the All-Ohio Championships in Delaware, Ohio.
