Denison-Ohio Wesleyan Football to air on Columbus Sports Network

Date: October 9, 2007
Location: GRANVILLE

This Saturday's North Coast Athletic Conference football game between Denison University and Ohio Wesleyan University will be broadcast by the Columbus Sports Network (CSN) on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.

Denison (1-4) is coming off a 34-27 loss to Oberlin and is gunning for their first NCAC victory of the season.  The Bishops are also 1-4 and coming off a 13-9 defeat at The College of Wooster.  The two Columbus area rivals have met on the gridiron 100 times since 1891.  Ohio Wesleyan holds a 62-31-7 lead in the all-time series.

This is the third time a Denison sports team will be featured on CSN.  The network, which kicked off coverage last March, featured the Denison men's lacrosse team versus Wittenberg and the Big Red women's lacrosse team against Kenyon, in April.

On-air talent for Saturday's game will be Ray Crawford (anchor), former Division III standout and current Chicago Rush quarterback Matt D'Orazio (analyst) and Dionne Miller (co-anchor).  The Denison-Ohio Wesleyan game will be the first of three local area college games to air on CSN.  On Oct. 20 the network will televise the Capital-Otterbein game and on Oct. 27 the crew will broadcast from Capital's Bernlohr Stadium for the Capital-Mount Union clash.

CSN is central Ohio's most comprehensive sports authority, showcasing central Ohio's professional, collegiate, scholastic and amateur sports and related news.  CSN can be found on Time Warner - Channel 78, Insight - Channel 78 and 524, WOW! - Channel 97, and over-the-air on Channel 32.  The game will air Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. with additional replays airing throughout the week.
