Denison seniors Drew Homyk and Nick Krempasky will put on their shoulder pads and lace up their cleats one last time, this Saturday (April 17) when they take the field for the Inaugural OhioCollegeFootball.Com Senior Bowl at Marv Moorehead Stadium in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

Hatem named head football coach at Denison
Following an extensive national search, Denison University has named Jack Hatem as its new head football coach. Hatem, 48, becomes Denison's 20th head coach in the 121-year history of Big Red football. He has spent the last five seasons at Denison as an assistant coach, serving as defensive coordinator since 2007.

Denison football to host coaches clinic in honor of longtime head coach Keith Piper
The Denison University football program will host the first ever Keith Piper Memorial Football Coaches Clinic on Saturday (March 13) from 9 am to 4 pm at the Burton Morgan Center lecture hall on the Denison campus.The clinic will feature eight sessions presented by some of Ohio's top college and high school coaches.

Football: Krempasky and Homyk selected to play in Ohio Senior Bowl Game
Denison University seniors Drew Homyk and Nick Krempasky have been selected to play in the Inaugural OhioCollegeFootball.Com Senior Bowl on Saturday (April 17) at Marv Moorehead Stadium in Upper Arlington, Ohio. The Bowl game will feature the top senior players in Ohio from all levels, spanning NCAA D-I, II, III, and NAIA.

The North Coast Athletic Conference announced on Monday that four members of the Denison Big Red were named to their 2009 football all-conference squad. That list was headlined by senior running back Nick Krempasky who was named to the NCAC's first-team.

Football: Earlham rallies for 21-17 win over Big Red
Earlham's Chris Owens caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from James Mees with 30 seconds left, capping off a fourth quarter rally which saw the Quakers score 21 unanswered points to top the Denison Big Red, 21-17 from Deeds Field-Piper Stadium. Owens was on the receiving end of two of Mees' three touchdown passes in the final quarter.

Football: Big Red rallies for victory over Kenyon
Nick Krempasky rushed for 148 yards and one touchdown and the Denison defense held Kenyon to six second-half points as the Big Red rallied for a 31-27 victory over Kenyon College on Saturday afternoon from McBride Field.

GSVA Football Small Thumb

Denison’s varsity football players and coaches recently teamed up with the Granville Studio of Visual Arts (GSVA) to help construct a digital media lab for students of all ages on the grounds of Bryn Du Mansion in Granville. On Sunday, September 13, over the course of four hours, some 90 players took up hammers and saws to install drywall, flooring and shelving on the second floor of GSVA’s facility at the mansion.
