Football: Big Red grinds out victory at Hiram

Entering Saturday's key North Coast Athletic Conference match-up with Hiram College the offensive game plan was to keep things on the ground and pound the football directly at the heart of the Hiram defense. Even after three consecutive turnovers in the opening quarter, Denison held true to the game plan, eventually wearing down the Terriers for a 31-13 victory at Henry Field.

Football: No. 14 Case Western too much for Big Red

Dan Whalen passed for 231 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 75 more as No. 14 Case Western Reserve topped Denison 45-14 at Case Field in Cleveland.

Football: Holter, Scots defense hold off Big Red

Wooster quarterback Austin Holter scored on a 67 yard run found Cameron Daniels on a 2-yard scoring pass in the third quarter to lead the Fighting Scots to a come from behind, 21-10 victory over Denison in front of a standing room only crowd at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium.

The Denison University Athletic Department is proud to announce a new partnership with TEAMLINE Internet Radio that will bring key home Big Red sporting events to the airwaves. The free service will kick off the fall season this Saturday, September 27.

Denison senior quarterback Mike Barnes rushed for a school-record tying 270 yards and three touchdowns while passing for 175 yards and another score, rallying the Big Red from an early deficit to a 49-27 victory over Kalamazoo College.
