Men's Golf: Denison just nine shots back at Allegheny Invitational

The Big Red men's golf team is nine strokes off the lead at the Guy Kuhn Invitational hosted by Allegheny College at Meadville Country Club.

Denison fired an opening round 301 and were led by a pair of 74's by Gian Milano and sophomore Kyle Bates who closed out with a one-under par 35 on the back nine.

Following Milano and Bates was Rob Colmery who shot a 76 and Tom Dunlap who came in with a 77.

Denison trails fourth place Rochester (299), Ohio Wesleyan (295), Allegheny (294) and Division II competitor Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
