Men's Golf: Results from Wabash Invitational

Denison shot a second round score of 325 which landed them in fifth place overall at the Wabash Invitational from the 7,317-yard Trophy Club Golf Course in Lebanon, Ind. on Sunday.

Denison was led at the 36-hole tournament by Kenny Smaga (Land-O-Lakes, Fla./Walsh Jesuit[Ohio]) who followed yesterday's 77 with a 78 on Sunday.  His 155 total landed him in 11th place on the overall leaderboard.

The Wabash Invitational is the third in a series of four tournaments which make up the NCAC Golf Championship Series.  Through those three events the Big Red sit in fourth place with 1,864 total strokes.  Ohio Wesleyan is the leader with 1,752 strokes. Second is Wittenberg (1,827) and third is Allegheny (1,837).  The final event of the series will take place on May 2-3 at the Griffin Motors Classic from Meadville Country Club in Meadville, Pa.
