Men's Golf: Big Red in seventh after opening round of NCAC Fall Invitational

The Denison men's golf team currently sits in seventh place after the opening round of the North Coast Athletic Conference Fall Invitational held at Delaware Golf Club. This event is the first of four in the 2009-10 NCAC Golf Championship Series.
The Big Red was led by freshmen Sam Kaiser (Zionsville, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit Prepatory) and Connor Monaghan (Garden City, N.Y./The Peddie School). Kaiser paced DU with an opening round 82, while Monaghan was two strokes back with a first-round 84. Sophomore Rob Colmery (Nellysford, Va./St. Anne's Belfield School) trailed Kaiser and Monaghan with an 86, while junior Henry Robb (Philadelphia, Pa./Germantown Friends School) rounded out the scoring with a 91.
Denison closes out the event on Sunday, with Big Red tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
