Head Golf Coach/Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Back for his sixth season with the Big Red is 1999 alum and former Denison letterman, Kyle Pottkotter.

As a freshman in 1995-96 Pottkotter was a member of the Denison basketball team before an injury ended his career. He then spent three seasons as a student assistant, a period of time in which Denison won 45 games and made an appearance in the NCAA tournament. From 1999-2002, Pottkotter worked as an assistant at the College of Wooster. While there, Wooster won 71 games, one conference championship and made two trips to the NCAA tournament. Pottkotter also served as a residence hall director at Wooster and earned his master's degree in sport science from the United States Sports Academy.

In addition to his basketball duties at Denison, Pottkotter serves as the head men's golf coach at Denison. In 2004, the Big Red advanced to the NCAA Division III championships where they finished 14th. The 2007 squad played to a third-place finish in the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament. Pottkotter also teaches activities courses in the physical education department.
