Men's Indoor Track & Field: Ohio Wesleyan Claims Seventh NCAC Championship

Ohio Wesleyan University snapped Allegheny's five-year stranglehold on the top-spot at the NCAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship thanks to five first-place performances and a clean sweep in the three relays. Ohio Wesleyan finished with 163.5 points while Allegheny trailed with 135 points.

Denison's Joel Bendtsen was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Distance/Mid-Distance Athlete of the Week after winning the men's 5,000 meters at the 2008 All-Ohio Division III Indoor Championships on Saturday in Westerville, Ohio.

Denison's 4x800-meter relay, made up of Lex Hultquist, Erik Walker, Ben Holder and Ben Pendery were named the North Coast Athletic Conference Male Runners of the Week after winning their event at Saturday's NCAC Relays hosted by Denison University.
