Men's Lacrosse: Overtime goal sends Gettysburg past Denison in NCAA second round
With 1:59 left to play in the game's first overtime, Gettysburg's Ben Sufrin ended the Denison Big Red's magical 2008 season with his unassisted, game-winning goal, lifting the Bullets to a come from behind, 8-7 victory over Denison in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship.

Men's Lacrosse: Big second quarter sends Denison past Widener in NCAA first round
Sophomore specialist Conner Detjen won 10 consecutive face-off's to open the game setting the tone for another brilliant second quarter from the Denison offense. Their 9-goal burst in the second quarter would send the Big Red to a 19-6 victory over Widener in the NCAA first round and set up a rematch with Gettysburg.

Men's Lacrosse: Big second quarter sends Denison past OWU
Brady Burton scored eight goals, with four coming in a pivotal second quarter as the Denison Big Red defeated Ohio Wesleyan 16-12 on Saturday at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium. The victory clinches the outright North Coast Athletic Conference championship and runs Denison's winning streak to 10 games.

Denison entered Wednesday night's contest with Wittenberg ranked 18th in the latest USILA poll but they also hadn't played a game in 10 days.The layoff didn't appear to effect the Big Red as they scored six goals in the opening quarter and held off the Tigers in the second half for the 10-6 victory

Men's Lacrosse: Upset bid falls just short at #1 Salisbury
After three quarters the Big Red found themselves locked in a 3-3 tie with the nation's top-ranked team, Salisbury University. The fourth quarter would be a different story as the Sea Gulls would control the face-off circle and score three unanswered goals to close out the 6-3 win on Sunday on the eastern shore of Maryland.
