Denison University senior midfielder Dan Maude (Wayne, Pa/Haverford School) was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America team for the second consecutive season.  After earning honorable mention accolades in 2008, Maude was named to the All-America third-team in 2009 after helping Denison to their 11th NCAA Quarterfinal appearance.

Maude finished the 2009 season ranked third in the team in goals scored with 30.  On May 2 against Stevenson University, Maude scored his 100th career goal.  In 62 career games played he has scored 104 goals and added 47 assists while gathering 87 ground balls.  He is a four-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection and a three-time All-NCAC first-team pick.  In Denison's 14-7 upset of No. 2 Roanoke in the NCAA's second round, Maude scored three times off just four shots to lead the Big Red back to the Elite 8.

The Big Red advanced to the NCAA Tournament in all four seasons with Maude, and DU posted a record of 49-16 highlighted by three NCAC Championships.

This marks the 101st All-America citation to be awarded to a Denison men's lacrosse player by the USILA since 1960.
