Men's Lacrosse: Minor and Maude to play in Senior All-Star Game

Denison University seniors Jim Minor (Washington, Pa./Trinity) and Dan Maude (Wayne, Pa./Haverford) have been selected to play in the annual United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III North/South All-Star Game at Harvard Stadium in Harvard, Mass. on Friday (May 22) at 2 p.m.
Minor has started 49 of his 56 career games in the Big Red defense and has posted 71 career ground balls while bolstering one of the top defenses in the nation. In 2008 Denison led Division III in total defense, allowing just 5.34 goals per game. In 2009 Denison has the nation's second-best defense at 6.18 goals per game. Minor is a three-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference honoree and a two-time Pre-Season All-American.
Maude, a four-year mainstay in the midfield for the Big Red, is a two-time USILA All-American and a four-time All-NCAC pick. He has scored 104 career goals and added 47 assists. This year he finished third on the team in goals scored with 30 and tied for third on the team with 15 assists.
Both Maude and Minor will play for the South squad, who is being coached by veteran Drew University head coach Tom Leanos. Click here for a look at the full rosters for both squads.
