Men's Outdoor Track & Field: Big Red take sixth at Kenyon Invitational

Senior Lex Hultquist took first place in the 1,500 meters and Dee Salukombo won the steeplechase to lead Denison to a sixth place finish at the Kenyon Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Hultquist crossed the finish line in 4:04.09 and Salukombo finished in 9:41.23 for another win in the 3,000 meter steeplechase event.  Following right behind Salukombo in the event was Phil Hiltner who took second in 10:16.82.  Steve Gallego rounded out the leaders for Denison with a second place finish in the javelin after a throw of 49.15 meters.
