Folt, who was a National Soccer Coaches Association for America/adidas Division III All-Great Lakes Region third-team selection, earned his third straight All-North Coast Athletic Conference first-team appearance anchoring a Big Red backline that recorded two shutsouts and gave up just 25 goals which was third best in the NCAC. The Hudson, Ohio native started in 16 games for the DU and was named first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District for the second straight year in 2008. The 2006 NCAC Defensive Player of the Year has logged four goals and two assists in his career from the backline.
During his four-year career in Granville, Folt aided the Denison defense in 21 shutouts and helped the Big Red earn a berth to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2006. The Big Red finished the season 6-8-3 overall and seventh in the league.
